(Content Analysis)

Title: Development of an Internal Supervision Model Using the LKN Trust Model in Combination with Professional Learning Community (PLC) Process to Enhance Teachers Active Learning Management Competency Towards Student Quality at Ban Lao Kluay Non Somphon School
Researcher: Miss Tasanan Aboonma
Year of Publication: 2027
Abstract
The objectives of this research were to: 1) study the baseline data and current conditions of internal supervision and active learning management; 2) develop an internal supervision model using the LKN Trust Model in combination with the Professional Learning Community (PLC) process; 3) implement and refine the developed model; and 4) evaluate the effectiveness of the model in enhancing teachers active learning management competency towards student quality at Ban Lao Kluay Non Somphon School. The target group consisted of 1 school administrator, 8 teachers, and students ranging from Kindergarten 1 to Grade 6, totaling 76 students in the 2023 academic year and increasing to 85 students in the 2026 academic year. The research instruments included the internal supervision model, an implementation manual, a teacher competency assessment form, and a student quality evaluation form. Data were analyzed using percentage, mean (X̄), standard deviation (S.D.), and content analysis.
The research findings revealed the following:
1. Regarding the baseline data, it was found that small-sized schools urgently required a supervision method that emphasizes friendly relationships and reduces formality to foster mutual trust among staff. The developed LKN Trust Model comprises 5 core components: L (Listening), K (Kindness), N (Networking), Trust, and Model (consisting of a 4-step supervision process: Planning, Supervising, Reflecting, and Evaluating). The structural suitability of the model, as validated by experts, was at the highest level (X̄ = 4.85, S.D. = 0.15).
2. Regarding the implementation and refinement of the model during the 20242025 academic years, driving the model through the PLC process by dividing the teachers into 2 small subgroups enhanced operational flexibility. This approach successfully allowed the supervision process to be adjusted, making it highly flexible and well-aligned with the workload of teachers in a small-sized school context.
3. Regarding the evaluation of the model’s effectiveness in the 2026 academic year, it was found that:
- The active learning management competency of all 8 teachers after implementing the model was at a very high level (X̄ = 4.68, S.D. = 0.22), which was significantly higher than before the implementation.
- The quality of the 85 students regarding core competencies and desired characteristics was overall at an excellent level, accounting for 88.24%. Furthermore, the school-level learning achievement scores increased by an average of 4.50% compared to the 2023 academic year.
In conclusion, the internal supervision model using the LKN Trust Model in combination with the PLC process can effectively and sustainably enhance teacher competency and elevate student quality in small-sized schools.
