Abstract
This study examined language development of listening skill program through natural approach and social reinforcement in Kindergarten 3 at Thungsong Resort Kindegarden School. The objectives of the study were: (1) to investigate fundamental information about language development of listening skill program through natural approach and social reinforcement in Kindergarten 3 at Thungsong Resort Kindegarden School, (2) to develop program for language development through natural approach and social reinforcement, (3) to experiment program for language development through natural approach and social reinforcement, and (4) to evaluate the result of using the program for language development through natural approach and social reinforcement. This study is a Research and Development. The research instruments included: (1) 12 programs of language development, (2) listening exercises and (3) listening evaluation. The participants were 32 students, selected by using cluster random sampling, from Kindergarten 3/2 studying in semester of the academic year 2016 at Thungsong Resort Kindegarden School under Tungsong Municipality, Nakhon Si Thammarat. The data were analyzed by using percentage, mean, standard deviation, and t-test.
The results of this study presented as follows;
1. Students have more development after using program for language development of listening skill through natural approach and social reinforcement in Kindergarten 3 at Thungsong Resort Kindegarden School.
2. The effectiveness values of using program for language development of listening skill through natural approach and social reinforcement in Kindergarten 3 at Thungsong Resort Kindegarden School were 88.38/87.01, which was higher than the expected value, 80/80.
3. The academic achievement of listening scores after using program for language development of listening skill through natural approach and social reinforcement was higher than the pre-test at the level of .01.
4. Listening evaluation of students have developed in high level after using program for language development of listening skill through natural approach and social reinforcement.
